Our new addition to Driftingsky is Torin (Zwartbos Brighstone of Driftingsky).

Born on 26th July 2011, we fell in love with him when we went to do a character assessment on the litter, and we were lucky enough to bring him home with us a week later. Thanks to Val and Steve Shone for letting us give him a home.
His sire is Int. Ch. Igor von der Hofreite, from Germany, and his dam is Ursine V.D. Romerweide of Zwartbos (Rhea), owned by Val and Steve.

Mist looked at him in horror for the first week but they are now the best of friends.
Drift told him he was welcome provided that he did not go on her bed or pull her tail!
Torin has also had visits from Finn, Mist’s brother – who does allow him to pull his ears and swing off his tail.
He is busy taking us to puppy agility class on a Monday, puppy obedience class on a Tuesday, and puppy ringcraft class on a Thursday. In between he is busy meeting the locals on his walks round the village, and meeting the horses in the fields. At the weekend he goes walking in the park getting used to children, pushchairs, cycles etc, and visits the local shopping centre to check out the Christmas offers.
For the first few weeks he preferred chewing stones from the garden in preference to anything else but he has now discovered that toys and chews are really much more fun.
I think we should maybe have named him Oliver Twist, as he is in the habit of rattling his bowl when he has finished his dinner to indicate he’d like some more…!
